We’re pleased to announce the first official release of a project we’ve been working on for a while: SideOffer is a slick pop-out tab slider with fully customizable graphics (PSD included!), designed to help increase leads and conversions by allowing you to present your offer in a persistant floating tab on the side of every page of your site, giving your users more opportunity to take notice and take action!
We’re firm believers in eating our own dog food, and we’ve been using this on our client sites, as well as our own, testing, optimizing and revising this plugin to make it as user friendly as possible.
Currently the SideOffer feature set includes easy and interactive setup and positioning with real-time visual feedback, anchor link triggering via inclusion the `sideoffer` class and custom background graphics (PSD source included!)
Check it out and please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions, comments or feature requests you may have!
You can download the plugin from the official WordPress plugin repository here: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/sideoffer/
Hi. Is there any information or documentation on how to limit SideOffer on mobile devices? I really like your plugin but when I institute it on my site it takes over my mobile site. I need to exclude the plugin from the mobile version in order for it to work for me. Can you help?
Thanks
Hey Tracy,
Sure thing, simply add this code to your CSS file:
@media all and (max-width: 520px) {
#sideoffer {
display:none;
}
}
Hope that helps!
Hi! Thanks for the help attempt! I tried it, even tweaked it in a bunch of different ways, tried in it literally every css file for my site (even when it seemed absurd, just in case). No luck. 🙁 Not sure what else to do and I am bummed for it.
Hi! Scratch that! Found one hidden little css file area I hadn’t noticed before and using it here worked perfectly! Thanks a bunch!!!!
I tried this but id did not work on my phone. Has there been a difference or change in it? Or is there anything else? Thanks!
@media all and (max-width: 520px) {
#sideoffer {
display:none;
}
}
Hi, awesome plugin, I have been trying to use the sideoffer plugin with gravity forms and seem to have an issue with the styles. It only styles my form in sideoffer if I already have a gravity form on the page, otherwise it strips the css style. Any help?
